🏙️ A Vancouver pump and dump? | Sunday Briefing
Plus, meet the inaugural BC Innovators Hall of Fame inductees, and see how local tech responded to the national strike.
Last week I asked you about the best place to host our morning coffees. The results? The majority of you are happy with downtown Vancouver, though 27% would be interested in attending in the Burnaby, New West, and Tri-Cities area. Do you have an office in one of those regions and want to host Vancouver Tech Morning Coffee? Shoot me an email and we’ll make it happen — we already know you’ll have a crowd of attendees!
Let’s also zoom out a bit from just downtown Vancouver, as you’ve told me that it can be tough to come to our events if you have kids with morning drop-offs. So — which neighbourhood would be most convenient for you for an 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. coffee meetup?
Now onto today’s briefing. It’s 1,209 words: a four-minute read.
P.S. If you’re not already a Vancouver Tech Journal member, you’ve missed out on our VTJ Summer Social last week, as well as our members’ pitch and putt event on Wednesday. Fix that right here, right now, for only $8.25 a month.
