1. Clean Growth Stories: Lessons from Leaders Capturing the Climate Opportunity

3. i2I Venture Pitch Competition

On October 20, 2021, the Chang Institute at SFU and the Beedie School of Business will host the 6thannual i2I Venture Pitch Competition which gives scientists the opportunity to grow into more business-savvy scientist-entrepreneurs to attract investors, commercialize their inventions, and sell the value of their products or services. At this event, qualifying students pitch their product-ready or emergent venture to a panel of judges comprised of angel investors, IP experts and successful serial entrepreneurs for their chance at winning cash prizes. The speaker line-up includes:

4. The State of Vancouver Tech In An Ongoing Pandemic

The pandemic brought a swift transition to remote working, impacted manufacturing and supply chains, and showed that states of affairs can change on a daily basis.
