The B.C. startups who pitched at Y Combinator's Winter 2022 Demo Day

Say hello to Instant Domains, Trueplace and Spade.

Earlier today, Y Combinator, the well-known Silicon Valley startup accelerator, hosted its legendary Demo Day. It’s a chance for its exclusive batch of companies to pitch in front of a slate of top-tier investors in hopes of securing further funding to fuel growth.

According to YC managing director Michael Seibel, the Winter 2022 cohort features 414 startups out of a whopping 17,000 applicants. Beyond the U.S., the top countries represented are India (32), Nigeria (18), Indonesia (16), Canada (16), UK (13), Singapore (10), Mexico (10) and Colombia (7).

Out of the Canadian companies, three are based in British Columbia. Here they are.

Instant Domains
