Meet Daanaa Resolution Inc: Acetech member spotlight
At Acetech’s recent Leadership Summit in Whistler, we were able to catch up with many of our members in person.
One of those members was Udi Daon, CEO of Daanaa Resolution Inc., the only chip-based technology that allows energy to be transferred freely, safely, and efficiently. Daanaa improves power transmission and makes it possible to remove wires entirely. By integrating into existing industries Daanaa can create advanced energy transfer in a way that is integrated and safe. Their proprietary circuit technology is made up of a unit that can act as both a transmitter and receiver to transfer power with an optional data layer.
That’s pretty amazing!
Udi and his team first targeted the growing solar industry, but can see integration in the electric vehicle and battery management sectors in the near future.
Daanaa’s integration into solar power allows panels to harvest on average 40% more power while reducing the costs of energy by 30%, contributing to incremental reductions in GHG emissions. Safe, uninterrupted energy can be transferred through wood, concrete, and plastics. Each unit can both transmit and receive. Energy can be transferred in either direction without additional hardware.
Many of you may remember Udi Daon as the founder and CEO of Navigate Surgical Technologies Inc. Navigate Surgical developed the Dynamic Surgical Navigation system. Navigate’s first product, Inliant®, improved the efficiency and efficacy of dental implant surgeries.
After exiting Navigate, Udi became involved in mentoring at SFU, UBC, and Innovation Boulevard. He has been an advisor, board member and investor in many companies since that time.
