Company Pitches: 1-minute pitch about your company to candidates and the roles you’re hiring for.
Live Networking & Speed Interview with Candidates: Talk face to face with senior developers for five minutes each, and schedule the next steps all within the VanHack platform.
💬 Innovation & Technology Dialogue Forum
On January 14, Innovate BC is partnering with the BC First Nations Business Development Association on a series of sessions to help foster the development of the B.C. tech sector and innovation ecosystem with First Nations-owned businesses.
This first session will feature a panel of tech sector participants from both government and industry, alongside First Nation business leaders.
🍻 Startup Drinks Vancouver
Startup Drinks is a casual gathering for anyone in—or interested in—the tech world. The group talks about all things entrepreneurship, business and tech in Vancouver.
On January 20, join Startup Drinks online using a service called Gather.town. The app allows attendees to recreate the good 'ol Shebeen Bar where they used to meet every month. You can virtually walk around, explore the room, play games and chat with anyone in the room.
👨🏫 Career Connect Day presented by BioTalent Canada
On January 21, Life Sciences BC is hosting its third annual Career Connect Day presented by BioTalent Canada. Career Connect Day will help connect life sciences companies and organizations from across the sector with university/college students and job seekers. This event will also provide the opportunity for human resource leaders to connect and learn from panels and a keynote presentation. To maximize networking opportunities, attendees will be able to connect virtually to arrange meetings through the event platform. Speakers include:

On February 5, VFS invites you to an in-depth, self-guided exploration of its school. From award-winning production programs to online workshops and certificate courses, you’ll get the full scope of the VFS student experience. 🧑🏿⚕️ Access to Innovation 2022
Life sciences is one of the fastest-growing sectors in the BC economy and as a sector is at the forefront of both developing innovations to address the COVID-19 pandemic and driving job creation and the economic recovery of the province.
On February 16-17, Life Sciences BC will host the 7th Annual Access to Innovation Conference, bringing together all stakeholders in the life sciences sector. The conference welcomes leaders from across academia, research, health institutions, government, and industry. Broadly, the aim of the conference is to provide a venue for dialogue on topics of relevance to life sciences from scientific discovery, emerging trends, innovation, economic impact, translational science, and policies to advance the sector.
