🏙️ Looking for a job in Vancouver tech? Let us know.

Plus, Vancouver's multimillion-dollar tech secret you've never heard of, and the city's response to the Silicon Valley Bank collapse.

Phew! I’ve just got back from SXSW in Austin, and it was fantastic to see so many Vancouver companies representing our city on the world stage. I’m still recovering processing everything from Vancouver Day and beyond, but stay tuned in a few days’ time for an exclusive roundup of how the local ecosystem is making an impact on the U.S., and why our Vancouver Mayor and B.C. Minister for Jobs, Economic Development, and Innovation flew down to Texas to promote the city’s interests in tech.

In the meantime, I’ve got a question for you. I know I harp on about this, but I truly want Vancouver Tech Journal to serve you — our community — in the best way we can. I’ve got a few ideas brewing, but first: how many of you are currently searching for a job? (Don’t worry — our polls are all anonymous so your boss will never know.)

Thanks for your feedback in these polls. It really helps us know where our mighty team can focus efforts to best help you.

Now onto today’s briefing. It’s 1,218 words: a breezy four-minute read.
