18 BC companies featured in Foresight 50
The inaugural list from Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre showcases Canada’s most investable cleantech ventures.
Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre unveiled the Foresight 50, a list of Canada’s most investable cleantech companies. The ventures—hailing from a variety of sectors including, aquatech, carbon solutions, hydrogen and renewable energy—were selected after an open call for nominations. Criteria included investability, potential environmental and employment impact and probability of success.
The list was unveiled at a virtual event hosted by Foresight Tuesday afternoon.
The 18 BC-based companies in the inaugural Foresight 50 (in alphabetical order):

“As Canada’s largest cleantech accelerator, Foresight has supported more than 750 Canadian cleantech ventures,” said Foresight CEO Jeanette Jackson. “We know that Canada punches above our weight when it comes to climate technologies and that many of these ventures are connecting to global markets and investors to scale. But these stories are not widely known. The Foresight 50 seeks to change that. I call on all investors to meet the Foresight 50 and lean in to support their growth!”
The Foresight 50 is supported by Gowling WLG and Clean50. Foresight also received funding support from the National Research Council of Canada Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP).
