Victory tastes sweet for Pineapple in Launch VC's 2021 Pitch Competition

The startup, working to democratize app development, wins over $10K in cash and in-kind prizes.

Six became three became one on Wednesday afternoon as Pineapple took top spot in Launch VC's 2021 Pitch Competition.

Six hand-selected companies exclusive to Launch Academy programs virtually presented a 90-second pitch in the opening round.

After this first round and a Q&A session with the judges and audience, three finalists were selected to present their three-minute pitch.

smartARM is developing AI-powered bionic hands for amputees that can see and learn. Their mission is to empower humans to interact with the world around them more intimately.

2. Syed Ahmed, Ontraccr Technologies Inc

OnTraccr is on a mission to automate the way construction is managed. Ontraccer provides next-generation workflow automation software that helps any type of construction contractor automate the tedious and time-consuming workflows no one should be spending their time on.

1. David Cruz, Pineapple

Pineapple and Cruz won $10,000 cash from Launch, $1,000 of in-kind services from and $2,500 in legal fees from MEP Business Counsel.
