...and a special summer social with Vancouver tech VIPs.
Good afternoon! Welcome to your Wednesday events briefing. As usual, there is no shortage of opportunities to keep busy or places to get deals done. However, there are four key upcoming events we think you should put on your radar. Check them out below. See you soon.
Scaling World-Class Products and Teams | Bonus: Summer Social with Float | July 19
#vtjtalks monthly events bring together entrepreneurs, executives, talent, investors, and tech community members to network and learn. Join us this month to get insights on how to scale world-class products and teams from a Canadian CEO who has already done it.
July's headlining fireside chat is with Rob Khazzam, CEO of Float, Canada’s first smart corporate card and spend management platform. Prior to Float, Rob served as general manager for Uber Canada after overseeing international expansion and operations for Uber in Central and Eastern Europe from 2014 to 2017.
The event will take place at WeWork in downtown Vancouver, and it will be followed by a Summer Social at a secret location. You won't want to miss this one, and since you can bet it'll sell out, you should probably snag your ticket today.
