Last Friday was Friday the 13th. I’m not superstitious, but I’m a little stitious about the date. So I ignored that eeriness when crafting the Friday Feature. Now that it is safely October 20, I’m eager to share a trio of stories that inspire more fear than Jason Voorhees: downturns, land shortages, and pirates.
