Here's who won B.C. Tech's awards week
Welcome to the Sunday Briefing.

While the global tech industry environment seems a bit precarious right now, last week in B.C., the feeling was very much good vibes only. Because, well, welcome news just kept coming. There was the $2.3 million in funding announced by Innovate BC. It was followed by the New Ventures BC Competition winner announcements. They were chased by a slew of funding rounds, and then the week was capped off by the 29th annual Technology Impact Awards that saw East Side Games founder Josh Nilson recognized as Person of the Year. All week the positivity was palpable.
The question now is: Despite coming headwinds, can B.C. tech keep the good times rolling?
