BC and AB tech leaders reunite after two years to celebrate Acetech's 30th anniversary in Whistler, BC
The Acetech Annual Leadership Summit is scheduled for April 6-8, 2022.
David Yoffie, Alice Heiman, Dethra Giles, Carl Saunders... these are just a few of the exceptional speakers lined up for the Acetech Annual Leadership Summit scheduled for April 6-8, 2022 at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort.
After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Acetech is thrilled to be able to host the Summit once again on what happens to be their 30 year anniversary.
Taking place over 3 days at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler Resort, the Leadership Summit is a signature event and something not to be missed! For 30 years, the Summit has brought CEOs and senior-level executives together with world-class thought leaders and speakers to elevate strategic thinking and leadership skills. The event is consistently rated 9+/10 in satisfaction by attendees.
"The Whistler Summit is the only conference I ensure is part of my annual schedule - it's everything a CEO could want in an event,” says Peter Oxley, CEO of Starling Minds.
For those not familiar with Acetech, the organization originated over informal get-togethers driven by a basic need: talking to other like-minded CEOs who understood the tech industry.
It wasn’t long before the early founders expanded their dinner conversations to engage a growing group of tech leaders. From there, Acetech and the Annual Summit were born and, eventually, a member-based model that would better serve the community by providing ongoing engagement, learning and support to help tech companies achieve commercial success and rapid growth.
Dr. Peter Payne joined Acetech as CEO in March 2020 and had the unique challenge of leading the organization through a pandemic, rebrand, website launch and reorganization. Payne credits the board of directors, roundtable facilitators, staff and members' passion and determination as key to pulling through the last two years and summiting their own mountain.
"Our passion is supporting tech CEOs and their teams to lead better, grow faster and get connected. Acetech has survived and thrived over the last 30 years because of the passion and dedication of a group of committed leaders. We care about the tech community and economy, and we know what it takes to succeed."
Today, Acetech continues to be the leading not-for-profit organization created by leaders for the advancement of growing tech companies. When you join Acetech you become a member of one of the most connected, supportive and high-performing communities of tech leaders.
Acetech "full" members receive a ticket to the Whistler Summit for FREE each year and membership also provides access to a monthly facilitated roundtable group, executive education, peer networking and a variety of other perks like access to a funding search portal, digital event library, employee benefits benchmarking reports, etc. All members have the option to bring their leadership teams along to events at a discounted rate.
"I not only attend every year, but now bring my senior leadership team with me to ensure they are just as inspired as I am,” says Catherine Dahl, CEO of Beanworks by Quadient.
Interested in joining the festivities? Regular ticket pricing for the Whistler Summit is available now through Monday, March 28.
